| Description : |
This course provides CPAs with practical instruction and examples on using Excel's XLOOKUP() function to improve efficiency, accuracy, and data analysis capabilities. You will see how XLOOKUP() simplifies traditional lookup tasks by eliminating the limitations of VLOOKUP(). With XLOOKUP() users can now search in any direction, return multiple values, perform exact and approximate matches, and handle missing data more effectively. Use FILTER() and TRANSPOSE() within XLOOKUP() to refine your results. The course also introduces XMATCH() and demonstrates how it can be used in conjunction with the INDEX() to more easily locate data positions within large datasets. Data Validation and range names are briefly discussed. There is an Excel exercise file that goes along with the course material. By the end of this course, you will be able to use your knowledge of XLOOKUP() and XMATCH() to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve the reliability of financial data analysis. |
