OneNote allows you to take digital notes that are typed, handwritten, copies of Microsoft Office files or copies from the web and organize this material using a notebook. This course provides an overview of OneNote and many of its features including the ability to create notebooks, sections and pages, navigate between sections, pages and other notebooks, create typed and handwritten notes, copy information from the internet, insert files and file printouts, as well as format sections and pages and search notebooks for key words. Other features of OneNote such as the ability to create Quick Notes, share notebooks and password protect notebook sections are also covered.

Because of the ease of organizing notes, the myriad types of information that may be stored and the ability to search and share notebooks, Microsoft OneNote is a great organizational tool for CPAs.
