The reason a course will show zero (0) hours is that it is in Pilot status. This means that a minimum of 3 CPAs must take the course without knowing the expected CPE hours. Then the average of those times is taken to determine the recommended CPE credit hours per the joint AICPA/NASBA guidelines.
